Tom Kyllo- Creative Energy to the Max
If you want something built that requires inspiration, creativity, knowledge, skill, and manpower, just ask Tom Kyllo! He's the man! He not only creates and designs structures; he also builds them. Right now he's doing major construction on his own home by himself; so when you drive by, don't forget to waive. Speaking of waves, how many of us realize that Tom designed the Planet Splash & Play Water Park at Rt. 50 & 28? Tom said that just before the water park opened to the public, he was there doing some of the finish construction and his kids had the water slides all to themselves. imagine!
Along the line of entertaining the kids and the public, he also designed lazer tag facilities and so much more.
Tom's extra-curricular activities usually revolve around ways to spend quality time with his kids: Tommy (age 9) and Kristin (age 11). He coaches the Vienna Stars (girls fast pitch softball), as well as boys basketball, and soccer. He particularly enjoys his affiliation with Rotary as a way of involving himself in the community.
Tom and his wife, Julie, are both architects, so they share more family interests. Julie works primarily with commercial architecture and currently is involved with an automotive firm and the Mercedes Benz. Julie is scout leader, as well, and pitches in to help at the PTA.
